I can’t believe I got event tickets to The Bouncing Souls show!  I only really got into punk rock a few months ago because I got to know this deejay, but he never steers me wrong.  Black Flag, The Ramones, Against Me, and even Rancid.  They’re all worth a listen and more.  But Souls are my favorite.  I don’t even think they’re on tour, but every punk rock bar in the city is giving away free tickets if you wait in line and then answer some trivia questions.  Well, I can’t get out of the office soon enough to wait in line and since I haven’t been following them for years and years I’d probably not get the trivia right.  My friend then explained that it’s mostly a scam for the people who work at bars to get tickets; this includes bartenders, bar backs, deejays, security, and whoever else.  They’re all already at the bar and don’t have to wait in line or answer trivia because their friends are the ones giving away the event tickets.  Luckily, my friend here works at a bar and already got me an extra ticket!  Awesome.  Sure, I’ll have to take the bus to get there and leave work a few hours early, but I have to see this show.  And since I’ll be hanging out with people who work at bars, drinks will be on the house the whole night too.  Sweet
