I’m putting out a fundraiser recipe book. I found this website that will help me put it together for a minimal amount. They specialize in fund raising material. I am thinking of making it into chapters. Chapter 1 would be Breads. Chapter 2 would be Entrees, I am sure you get the idea. My favorite will be Chapter 7 with all the desserts. I have so many ideas for what I will contribute. We are only allowing 1contributions for each chapter, but it still leaves people with plenty to submit. The fun part of this will be working with the high school girls in their Home Economics class to test the recipes. The harder part will be typing it all up and making all the decisions of type font, front cover and binding. I’ve never done something like this before; it’s been a real eye opener so far. I really enjoy baking, cooking is okay but not my favorite and I absolutely adore experimenting but I must say I do get disappointed if my experiments flop. Sometimes a few friends will chip in together to buy a cookbook and split the recipes between each other so if it flops we can inform each other. There was one time I made a beautiful looking pie but it tasted absolutely awful and my friend called me telling me not to make the peanut butter pie in that book, and I was like really? I would have never known.
