I think after last night's incident we realize the advantages of home security. I told my boyfriend we should've had something installed a long while ago. If we did, this never would have happened. Someone was able to figure out a way into our house and take every last one of my boyfriend's guitars! My boyfriend had an expensive lineup of guitars which he set up on racks. He'd just gotten all of this put together. The last of the vintage guitars came a few days ago and he was really excited about getting to experiment with them. I don't know what we're going to do about the guitars. I guess there's nothing we really can do since they weren't even insured! We were both trying to save some money and cut some corners. That was the biggest mistake! Everything was in plain view. It seems like such common sense that we should've known but I figured I wouldn't have to worry in this neighborhood! We've lived here for several years already and nothing like this ever happened. I guess it just goes to show you can never be too careful. We should've known not to take our safety and our valuables for granted like that. I've never seen my boyfriend cry and he was in tears over this!
