You won’t believe the kind of luck I’ve been having.  I’m all set to move cross-country.  I’ve hired movers, bought a new place, even forwarded my mail to the new address.  My whole life is starting over and if that wasn’t enough of a hassle I’ve misplaced the relocation software I was going to use for my home office. I knew a few local business owners and they swear by this program.  To them, it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.  The price is pretty steep, especially for relocation software, but they assured me it was worth it.  So I jetted down to the local electronics store (because I hate dealing with the franchises.  Give me a Mom and Pop store any day of the week) and picked up the package and the CDs that come with it. I know I set it down somewhere in the old house, but I can’t remember where!  I tore up my old bedroom, the den, the living, even ransacked the drawers in the kitchen.  It doesn’t make proud to say this, but I dove through the garbage as well.  Don’t blame me.  I had to make sure. Still, I can’t find it anywhere.  I tipped the movers to look for it and went through my bags and even checked the new house.  I couldn’t find it anywhere.  Even if it’s worth it, I don’t want to have to buy another copy of this relocation software.
