TAKING THE DOG TO THE VET
Tara had become the neighborhood expert on hair and hair loss. When Jim and Sues's dog, Bill, started to lose his hair, Sue walked him over and had Tara look at him. What was a good dog hair loss treatment, Sue wanted to know. Tara was upfront with her, saying that she had studied humans only, due to my hair loss. But of course this was a new project of Tara, so like all missions she gets started on, she dug right in. There were obvious causes, like mange and other parasites. Sometimes dogs even suffer from hormonal problems. The first thing to do was to take Bill to the vet and see if he was okay physically. It turned out that both Jim and Bill went to get a check up on the same day, and since Jim's appointment time was different from Bill's, he was able to take the dog to the vet. The vet said that there was nothing wrong with Bill. Jim didn't get a clean bill of heath, though. He as diabetes, it turns out. Tara was sitting aound that night thinking about Bill. She went online and spent about an hour looking up information on dogs.
